LOWE- 18'-6" aluminum bass boat, 85hp Tilt/Trim,80"wide Vehicle Description HELP........i'm leaving the country on August 1st, and will be gone for three years. You do the math,do I put my boat in a rented storage building for three years, or sell it? This is a huge aluminum boat i bought in 2001, from a "senior" fisherman in Alabama, and i still have the boat licensed for this year in Alabama. Lake Guntersville has been the boats home since day one. The boat measures 18'-6" in length, and is 6'-8" wide. The motor, a 19..seventies model, is a 85 hp Johnson, with tilt and trim. I estimate the boat runs 45-50 mph. I was never too concerned with the speed. It has a Lowrance 0-60 in dash depthfinder on the front, and i plan to give a buyer a Eagle fishfinder and transducer. There is one large livewell between the seats. I also will have a pedestal butt seat to go with the boat (very used).
