Samantha Meet Dress & purse - Pre-Mattel American Girl

Being offered is Samantha's meet dress, purse and hankerchief.  The tag in the dress is marked "Made in West Germany for PLEASANT COMPANY" with a 1986 copyright date (though the item was actually purchased in 1987 or 1988).  The dress is in good shape and still contains the brooch with heart-shaped locket (it contains a picture of Sam's Uncle Garth).  The purse is a salmon colored clutch made of velveteen(?) with a metal clasp & chain.  The hankerchief is embroidered. They are quality items - made before Pleasant Company became American Girl and started making everything in China.  They are in good shape, with no stains or tears, but they are not new - they were played with by my daughter in the 1980's when she was a little girl.    ...
