PriMiTiVe Bonnet HaT Animal Dog Horse Donkey Teddy BeaR

Hi, Thanks for stopping by thestofus! My ebay theory: when a person passes on they leave a house full of items telling the story of their life behind … a piece of clothing, book, toy, picture or kitchen utensil. My job is to pass on this piece of history to someone here in eBaYland who will appreciate the item for what it is ….. a piece of the past. This item is a hand made antique or vintage bonnet for an animal, it could work for a dog, horse, mule, donkey, anything with 2 ears! The hat is in wonderful condition for its age. From the lace and fabric I am guesstimating 1940's or 50's. Pictures show front, back, and laid flat view (guide for measurements). The last picture is a Norman Rockwell painting called "country pedlar" if you look to the far right you see the donkey wearing a similar hat, I thought it was a good example!
