ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN TITANIC ERA WIDE BRIM VELVET HAT 1910 ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN TITANIC ERA WIDE BRIM VELVET HAT 1910 DESCRIPTION Wonderful original antique Edwardian Titanic era, wide brimmed hat, which has been produced from wired olive green felt to the rim and matching velvet to the crown, and is very much in the style worn in the Tudor period. One side of the brim has been decorated with contrasting rust and gold ostrich feathers, with the underside of the brim lined with velvet. AGE Late Edwardian, circa 1910-1915 MAKER Unknown MEASUREMENTS 43cm (17½") in diameter CONDITION The hat is in a very good condition for age and delicate nature, with no major damage to the fabric or feathers, although there is the odd moth bite (not holes) to the felt.
