Very Rare-Unique Book-with 23 Autographs from "Ripley"

I Bought this book at a Library Sale over 30 years ago in Connellsville, Pennsylvania......Last year I contacted Ripleys headquarters in Flordia.....The main man there told me that these were Ripleys real signatures. He said that they were very early signatures before he became famous.....He told me he knew for sure because he himself had over 5000 Ripley signatures......His offer was way off for me to sell it to him.......Ripley signed at the end of all chapters. I believe that this is a book he gave as a gift to a woman named Midge......(Inside front cover says:----Very good book but what is the "Believe it or Not" at end of chapter?
