  Vintage Silk Kimono One Size Carson Pirie Scott & Co. 1979This is a vintage 1979, womens silk kimono. The color is ivory or off white with a delicate interwoven pattern in the silk. It has a inside waist tie and a waist belt that measures 70 inches and both are made of the same silk fabric. It also has a inseam pocket on the right seam. It was made in Hong Kong exclusively for Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co. in Chicago, IL. I bought it new when I got married back in 1979 and I paid over $100.00 for it back then. I have worn it but I was always afraid I would spill something on it so it's been in my closet all this time. It is one size. It measures 48 inches around the chest underarm.
