Harley Knucklehead Panhead Chopper Coffin Gas Tank OLD

NO PAYPAL......NO PAYPAL......You are bidding on what looks like a Chopper Style Coffin Gas Tank suitable for your Pan or Knuckle Rigid Frame. It is a barn fresh swap meet find and has not see the light of day for years. It weighs a whopping 10 pounds and is a good solid tank and not some current Taiwan repop lightweight. It roughly measures 18-1/4" long, 11-1/2" wide and 7-1/2" tall from where the tunnel sits on the frame to the top of the gas Cap opening. The Tunnel is about 2 inches wide and the mounting studs are about 12" on center apart. An Eaton Type bayonette cap will be needed as well as 2 Petcocks. Threads for mounting and petcocks are nice. The inside of the tank has some surface rust and will need a good cleaning. It is in no way crusty rusty or rotted.
