Rare Mega Insulator - CD 304 / 310 Hemingray Coolie Hat

This auction is for a HUGE two piece glass insulator! It measures approximately 12" tall when the two pieces are together. It is 9" across the bottom of the top part and 5 1/2" across the widest part of the bottom part. My research indicates that this insulator is the CD 304 / 310 made by Hemingray. It is called a "Coolie Hat" for obvious reasons. It is in remarkably good condition. The drip points are sharp with some small chips that are not readily observed. The base has a flaked chip as seen in the photos. This chip measures approximately 1" X 1.25". Otherwise, no apparent damage. Nice swirls and bubbles in the glass.
