Dana Design / Garuda ATarp Shelter Tent
Sometimes I amaze myself by buying awesome things that I never end up using. One of those things is this tent, so I'm finally breaking down and selling it. As I've said in other auctions I've held lately, I've worked in outdoor retail for years and just about have a personal "store" at home. The problem is, the amount of time I get off to play seems to be diminishing, and I can realistically only use so many different shelters. The Dana Design / Garuda ATarp is a hybrid shelter, more tent than anything, but born of the ultralight tarp shelter revolution. It's a double-wall design, so you get great ventilation and no condensation build-up. The inner tent has plenty of mesh, and the rainfly/tarp overhangs a bunch. The floor space of the inner tent is 32 square feet, and the whole shebang weighs 4 pounds.
