Unusual alternating short and long brass spokes. Made in Germany. The clock measures a huge 25 inches from tip-to-tip, 7.25 inches across the face. All of the brass spokes are straight, shiny and bright. The face is in very good vintage condition with just a touch of patina. Factory-black graphics and imprinted black Elgin logo. Perfect vintage-style brass hands with a rare red second hand. This one is unusual because it actually "projects" away from the wall, the hanger on the back is 1.5 inches long so the body floats and the clock is supported by the brass spokes. The clock works perfectly and keeps perfect time. It uses 1 AA battery in a brand-new modern quartz mechanism so it runs accurately and is completely silent.
