FUJINON Stabiscope Gyro stabilized binoculars US DEA

FUJINON Stabiscope 14 X 40, 4 degree Gyro stabilized binoculars in NON working condition.  These binos are recently back from Baker Marine Instrument and repair, an authorized Fujinon repair facility in San Diego, California.  Anthony at Baker Marine informed me that these binos need a new motor.  They also need a battery door screw and a plastic AA battery compartment ($30).  A new motor is going to cost you about $1000 according to Anthony.  If you don't elect to have them repaired, the parts alone are worth well over $1000.  If you have a set of working binos, these would be very nice to have around for spare parts.  In working condition, Baker Marine sells these binos in their store used for + or - $3500, and they are almost $6000 new.  This unit operates on six AA batteries or a hard wire connector which is not included.    I won and purchased these binoculars from a GSA online auction.  I picked up these& ...
