Antique German Bisque Doll head, Armand Marseille

Antique German Bisque Doll head, Armand Marseille.  This great head would probably fit a 23-24 in (58-61 cm) tall doll.  1920s doll is in incredible condition.  The head’s paint is excellent with no cracks or refurbishing.  There is a surface line chip that goes through the bottom markings.  It does not appear that this goes through and so it is not a crack.  A small spot of wear is on the forehead and tip of the nose.  The blue eyes are sleepy with a nice eye lid paint.  The markings on the back of the head read, “Made in Germany; Armand Marseille; 390n; DRGM 246/1; A 0 ½ M.”  The head is 4 ¼  in. (10.5 cm) tall, the circumference of the head is 9 in (23 cm), and the neck is about 1 ¼ in.
