Vintage 1965 Gibson Melody Maker Electric Guitar

Here is a 1965 Gibson Melody Maker electric guitar. The serial # is 3355XX and that is located on the back of the headstock, and is very hard to read, you can only see it in certain light. This guitar is a custom color, which is cardinal red and that is rare. The neck and body are made of mahogany, with a rosewood fingerboard. It has two pickups, with two tones, two volumes, and a three way switch. The great guitar is all original with the exception of two gears, and two screws on the original tuners. This guitar is in very good condition and has never been broken, but it does have lots of nicks, scratches, wear, and weather checking, none of which takes away from it's beauty! All of the electronics and pickups work good. The neck is straight, but the frets have some wear. The wear does NOT affect the playability. This is a light weight guitar weighing at 5.6 pounds.
