SG Style Guitar with GIbson and Epiphone Parts-Project
First of all, the only reason I put 'project' is because the pickups need to be resoldered. The guitar works as is but it isn't right as far as the wiring and I don't know enough to fix it nor do I want to spend the time. I had different pickups and pots in it before and it sounded fine but the new pickups have two wires coming out instead of one and I can't seem to get it right.Anyway, this is an SG 61 style guitar. I do not know the original manufacturer. I took out all the original parts and replaced them. Real Gibson parts on the guitar are - the tuning keys (Gibson deluxe), the bridge, the strap knobs, the switch selector ring that says 'Rhythym/Treble', and the volume/tone knobs (one is chipped). The pickups are Epiphone pickups from an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. They are stamped 'Epiphone' on the back. The pots are 500K pots that I bought on ebay.
