Columbia AH Graphophone Phonograph
Columbia Model AH Graphophone Disc Phonograph 1902-03. This, along with the AJ, was the second inaugural model of 1902. Early versions can be found with leather elbows, but this quickly gave way to the brass elbow. Very early versions also have a crank hole which is slightly left of center. The double spring motor was a vast improvement on the AJ, and the 22" horn improved the sond quality. This machine has a decorative handle on the rear of the cabinet. The extension arm has no writing. The solid traveling arm has Columbia spelled out on it. The oak cabinet appears to have original finish. I do not have a horn for this phonograph, but I noticed an original (Item number: 200234532441)listed on ebay this day.
