Old school bmx dia-compe mx 900 off GT PRO PERFORMER

This is a pair of  dia-compe mx 900 off GT PRO PERFORMER from the 80’S . Looks that they were both made in 86 by the mark on the back? as seed in pic. the back one has this WEINMANN SEMI AUTOMATIC thing an the back it turns fine but I think a part is missing if you know fell free to let me know, and the flip release has rust on it, they both will need to be cleaned up.
