Harley-Davidson : Sportster

Vehicle DescriptionYou are bidding on a 1982 Harley Davidson Sporster.  This bike was taken down to the frame by me 3 years ago.  Frame and Engine Cylinders and Heads were Sandblasted and Powder Coated Grey.  All the tins were new (gas tank, and both fenders.  Front Fender is fiberglass rear is a "bob" fender.  Fuel Tank is a dual cap tank.  Wheels came off a slightly newer Harley Sportster, I painted them to match the bike.  The Paint color is "amazing grape" by DuPont.  This was my wifes bike and she just dosen't ride it enough to justify walking around it in the garage all the time so it is time to sell it.  I'll tell you this bike runs very well, I just took it out for a ride after I took these photo's today and for a 25 year old bike it still runs very well.  when i had the motor apart 3 years ago we did put new rings in it and we ground the valves.  I had to put a new battery in it this spring but it does start right up.  The tires are both sti ...
