VINTAGE HERMAN MILLER EAMES SHELL ARM CHAIR, ESTATE NR!

Vintage Herman Miller Eames shell arm chair!       I have just aquired this original Herman Miller shell chair at an estate sale.  It is a very rare color of  mellow olive green and it still has its wonderful luster.   The chair was designed by Charles Eames and was made by the Herman Miller Furniture co. and Zenith Plastic co. in the 1950's.  The fiberglass reinforced plastic was first used to strengthen military helmets and airplane domes, and it is known for its durability.  This chair is very tactile and smooth to the touch, and is very comfortable as well.  The original black swivel base is attached to the chair by its original rubber shock mounts and it swivels smoothly and rotates 360 degrees.  This chair also has its original casters.      The condition of this chair is wonderful, with one small scratch in the bottom left curve of the chair, and of course a few bumps from use.  There is also a litt ...
