Altec Lansing JBL field coil supply Jensen speaker #2

Altec Lansing Model F820 field coil power supply from Lansing / Altec Lansing "Iconic" two way speaker system.  This is a tube rectified (5Z3) choke filtered power supply to power the electromagnets on the Iconic speaker system.  This power supply was made shortly after Altec aquired Lansing Manufacturing to form Altec Lansing and was originally used with the 801 field coil tweeter and 800 field coil woofer.  It is physically identical to the Lansing Manufacturing power supply in my other auction.  As can be seen in the photos, the filter capacitor is missing from the chassis.  It was damaged at some point in the past and non stock capacitors were used as a replacement.  Fortunately, there are wafers of the correct and very difficult to come by size included with the auction as well as a new old stock capacitor of the correct basing and value to fit in.  However, the replacement capacitor is a different form factor than the original, b ...
