It is the body only. This carb is absolutely brand new and in fact still has the parts pick tag attached to it. If you're wondering how old it is, take a look at the vintage four legged leaping deer logo on the parts tag! AF2829R is the body only for AF2828R carburetor and carries the casting #F2815R. It fits John Deere 720 and 730 LP tractors.Take a close look at the pics, it's great to see new vintage cast iron. Note the flanges, you can tell a bolt has never been tightened down against them! Even the dual throats look great.Maybe your carb has been repaired or maybe you're doing a full restoration on a 720 or 730 Propane, this would be a good piece to install.
