Vintage Dressel Kerosene NP Railroad Lantern Blue Globe

You are bidding on a vintage Dressel kerosene railroad lantern with the deep blue globe.  This lantern was once used by Northern Pacific trainmen while working at night.  This item is from a four generation railroading family and is in excellent condition as shown in the photograph – no dents, rust, significant scratches, etc.  It has what appears to be a galvanized surface that has darkened to a nice patina.  All of the original parts appear to be in place and in excellent working condition.  The top is stamped “Dressel Arlington NJ”.  “NP” (Northern Pacific) is stamped on the hood.
