SCA medieval LARP large gray arming cap armor helmet

This arming cap is handmade, and the fabric was prewashed and dried before sewing.  The cap is made from a heather gray waffle knit 100% cotton fabric (think long john material) and should accommodate all head sizes.  Fabric is waffle weave on the outside and a brushed knit on the inside.  All raw edges have been serged and double sewn over for extra durability.  Because of the stretch of this material, I've opted to leave the face opening just a serged edge to keep the fabric snugger against the face.  Darts may be added at the temples after purchase for a more customized fit.  I have double sewn the seam under the chin where my serge ends are to ensure that this is durable and totally machine washable.This design has been tested and approved by several local fighters for helping to keep sweat out of the eyes.  Your gorget may be worn over the material for extra neck comfort.  This could also be worn under a chainmail coif to hel ...
