This pendant features a red enameled crown atop a banner in white reading Institution above a shield in white enamel displaying black birds around a green tree. 1923 is printed on blue across the top and a red enameled banner surrounds inscribed Royal Masonic Institute for Boys. At the top is a bale that would fit a chain nicely. The back of the fob has a makers mark for Spencers of London and R Sthe Lion and Anchor stamp for Birmingham, England as well as a x which dates this fob to the year 1922.This fob would make an excellent and stylish necklace pendant, charm, key chain accessory or even a dog or cat pet tag! This fob weighs a nice 9.5 grams and measures 1 13/16" (46mm) tall and 1 1/4" (31mm) wide.I guarantee this badge to be sterling silver.
