Carving Stone - Med. slab of Montana Talc (Soapstone)

Montana Talc (Soapstone) Carving StoneApprox. measurements (at there widest & thickest points) are:5 1/4" Long  X  3"  Wide  X  1 7/8" ThickAprox. wt.  2 lb. 10 oz. This chunk has only been cut on one side (as seen in picture).Our Montana talc does not contain Asbestos or Asbestos-type minerals.Talc (Soapstone) is a 1 on the hardness scale.  This stone is soft and easy to carve. The Stone is wet when I take the picture. Because graphics are often diffrent for each computer, stone pictures are approx. color and may vary a little. We do not guarantee it to be fracture free but we do are best to get you quality stone. If it does happen to break when carving. A little super glue or epoxy will fix it like new.
