Noritake Tree in the Meadow Toothpick Holder w/Red Mark

Collectible pedestal toothpick or match holder in Noritake’s classic “Tree in the Meadow” pattern in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs and little wear. It measures approx. 2 3/8" tall with a diameter of 1 7/8". The Noritake Company was founded in the late nineteenth century by the Morimura Brothers and used either a red or green makers mark on this hand painted pattern, indicating when the piece was made (red was made earlier than green). This item carries the red Noritake makers mark indicating Circa.1911+ and this pattern was used exclusively by the Larkin Company as a giveaway premium.
