1956 JOHNSON SEA-HORSE 15hp OUTBOARD BOAT MOTOR 15 hp

Antiquetreasuregarden offers this 1956 Johnson Sea-Horse 15hp Outboard Boat Motor.  Model FD-10L  Serial #1439392.  I purchased this motor at a local Living Estate.  The original owner told me he hadn't used this motor for around 5 Years.  He said it was a good dependable motor when it was last used.  It has Great Compression.  I didn't try to start this motor as I'm sure it will need a tune up and should have the water pump checked since it has been a number of years since it was used.   This motor was used in Fresh Water Lakes Only.  No salt water use.  It looks to be all original with the exception the shift handle has been replaced with what looks like a no-stock handle.  The new owner might want to replace that handle, although it works just fine.  Shifts from Forward, Neutral and Reverse.  This motor measures about 44" full length and the shaft measures 19" from the top of the transom to the cavitation plate.
