1920s MUTOSCOPE Movie Machine COIN OP Penny Arcade

Offered is an original 1920's MUSTOSCOPE.  These were one of the most popular machines in penny arcades, amusement parks, boardwalks, and carnivals.  Before the advent of the motion picture, these machines offered the public a glimpse of special events that might not otherwise be seen.  Hugely popular with operators, these machines, because of their durability were used up into the 1950's.  This example, with the exception of the side door, remains a nice unmolested original.  The stand and marquee frame are both original.  This is unusal to find on these machines, and further enhances its rarity.  The coin acceptor inside has been modified to receive quarters.  It can be changed back to accept pennies or nickels.  The reel features the features two men getting into a fist fight, at what looks like a mining construction site.  Ends with that classic "cliff hanger" finish.  The reel is in very good condition with normal expected wear fr ...
