Pepsi Cola 1936 patent airline soda pop cooler +ice box

~ Vintage ~PEPSI-COLAsoda pop airline coolerwithinterior ice chest box & lidThis all metal cooler has an overall size that is less than 19" wide X 9" deep X 12" high and was made for carrying on airplanes in the late 1930's. The wire swivel handle has a patent # of: 2025686, which is from 1936 to be exact. Inside there is the original removable ice chest box with lid. The only thing missing is the metal wire swivel latch (see last photo), but a nail has been put in place to hold the sheet metal finding in place from slipping into the insulation... a new piece of thick wire could be formed / shaped to refurbish the latch. It was manufactured by the PROGRESS REFRIGERATOR CO. of LOUISVILLE, KY.
