Eventually his acquisitions included real estate in the Deep South and a "snowbird" lifestyle and so he needed a BIG BARN and stable combination. We began looking for plans. There are some very nice, VERY EXPENSIVE modular stables out there. There are all sorts of severely utilitarian Ag buildings, various sorts of garages, but nothing that combined the features he wanted: 3 horse stalls (two 10'x12'box stalls and a 12'x16' birthing stall with dirt floors), a "garage" for his giant 4x4 extended cab long-bed pickup with room for a decent shop, and a central storage building with a huge 16 foot wide, 12 foot high overhead door to accommodate the "big boat on a trailer", with a full storage loft up above!
