Sony KP-57WS500 57" Rear Projection TV

Up for bids is a Sony KP-57ws500 57" rear projection TV.  I bought this new in December 2002 and have used it until 2 weeks ago.  The television cosmetically is near perfect, as you could put it in the showroom of any store and you could not tell the difference between this one and the new ones.  The screen has absolutely no scratches/imperfections on it at all.  I only ever used the electronic wipes to clean it.  The cabinet is like new as well.  That is cosmetically speaking.  This TV uses the CRT technology and has green, red and blue CRT's.  The green CRT on this unit is going.  The unit turns on, fires right up, but there is a nice green line ensemble across the middle of the screen.  You can watch TV, but the green waves get annoying.  Sometimes it goes back to normal, but that is short lived.  The Sony Showcase told me that it was their opinion that the green CRT going out.  The TV still functions, but to watch it gets to your eyes a ...
