It's smooth and quiet.Its got all original paint and has obviously been well taken careof. SINGLE PHASE 110V operation!! Capacity is 2" in 16 Guage mild steel Throat depth is 19" (allows you to punch a hole in the center of a 38" wide sheet.) Maximum thickness capacity 1/8". The machine goes through 1/8" aluminum plate like nothing.The machine requires 110V for the motors. They drive theflywheel used to punch, and are also used to rotate the (gear-driven)punch and die turrets. A smll regulator is installed below the motor on the rightside of the machine (not shown).
