Colonel Whelen's Gun Catalog and complete Handbook Eighth edition.  This is the first post-war edition of this catalog.  There are 162 pages, plus a supplement "Airex 1950" Modern spinning Fishing tackle for the American Angler, which has spinning reels, casting rods, lines, lures, nets, rods and the prices from 1950.The main catalog explains the time payment plan, has a foreword and sections on small bore rifles, game rifles, shotguns revolvers and pistols, rifle sights, miscellaneous equipment, ammunition.  This catalog is really cool, it has photos, prices, descriptions.  You could buy a winchester model 12 shotgun in a range of gauges for $84-100.  or a Colt revolver .38 special for $65.  This is really fun for the gun enthusiast!This is a original vintage catalog, and so almost 60 years old.  It's original price was $1.  The cover has a couple of small tears.and is slightly soiled, but overall in very good condition.  Inside is in excellent condition.  ...
