1974 Schwinn Paramount 15 speed Touring Bicycle Origina

  This auction is for a 1974 Schwinn Paramount 15 speed Touring Bicycle (size small).  I was told it is in "all original condition, including the tires, tubes, brake pads, and bar tape".  I am not an expert on road bikes, so I am typing what I have learned from viewing other Paramounts up for sale on eBay. The serial number is K7422 on left rear drop out.  It is a beautiful bronze color. I measured the stand over height at 30", wheel base at 39 1/4", center crank to center top tube at 19 1/2" or 49cm., and head tube at 19 3/4 or 50 cm..  I took it for a short ride and was very impressed how smooth it rode.  I was told from the owner that it had a few hundred miles put on it in 1975 and then sat for almost 34 years.  As you can see from the pictures there are some small scratches and chips with some noticable surface rust in places such as the Schwinn gear levers at the stem, on the Weinman rims and spokes, and under the ...
