Rare Vintage Matrix Titan T Wheelset for Trek 520

For auction is my rare, vintage wheelset--the Matrix Titan T rims with Matrix CD3K tires (front only) and Shimano 105 hubs.  This was the stock wheelset supplied with the 1989 Trek 520, which is the bike I bought awhile ago.  The Matrix rims, which were made by Trek at its manufacturing home in Waterloo, Wisconsin, are heated-treated, hard-anodized, 27 inchers, with 36 spokes and drilled for Presta valves.  The Matrix tire is 27" x 1-1/4", Kevlar skinwall, rated at 96 psi.  The spokes are 14 gage Swiss DT with double eyelets.  Both front and rear tires were the Matrix CD3K original tires (can you believe it?), but I blew out the sidewall on the rear tire about a month ago.  This was no surprise since, as you can see in the photo of the one surviving original front, the sidewall had weakened with age.  Therefore, I would recommend replacing the original front time as well as the IRC HP 90 rear tire that I picked up as a short-term replacemen ...
