2000 Trek 8500 R small mountain bike frame

This auction is for a used 2000 Trek 8500 R aluminum mountain bike frame. I bought this as a complete bike for some of its parts and am selling the rest. This was Trek's top-of-the-line aluminum mountain bike frame in 2000. It is a handbuilt in the USA frame. The decals say SLR Superlight Race and Alpha Custom Aluminum. It is a size small frame. The seatpost measures 14" center-to-center and 15.5" center-to-top. Actual top tube length is 21". This frame has a fair amount of scuffs and scratches and has some minor chainsuck. The biggest negative is that the previous owner overtightened the front derailleur and there is a minor dent in the seattube as a result. I did not notice this until I removed the front derailleur. I tried to photograph this (see last photo) but could not get a good picture. The bottom bracket threads are clean and in good shape.
