VINTAGE 40'S WHITE WICKER LUCITE PURSE MARILYN LEVINE

This is a vintage late 40's early 50's hand-made vinyl coated white wicker satchel purse bag with the gorgeous white pearl lucite trim.  The bag has the double handle pearlized white handles and the trim.  The bag also has the goldtone metal hardware.  The bag closes with a barrel shaped turn key.  The bottom has vinyl patches with the goldtone metal feet.  The inside is lined with the white vinyl lining the purse is divided in the center with a metal zipper compartment.  The front of the bag which I know was added later is a shades of blue color hummingbird drinking the nectar of the flowers.  There are also marquise shaped turquoise gems and the decoration is trimmed in a gold ric rac.  There is what I believe a cotton batting underneath the design.  I figure the decoration was glued on and I really think you could pull it off if you want.  The purse is hand-made in British Hong Kong.  The added on front decoration is Designed by Mar ...
