Shabby Chic Mosaic Wall Mirror Vintage ChinaOh my! How scrumptious, how elegant, how totally shabbylicious!I found this wall mirror several months ago on E-Bay. It’s funky brown paint on the octagon frame and beautiful scroll work just begging for a transformation to the perfect eye candy for your romantic decor ~ shabby chic, cottage, beach bungalow or Paris apartment decor. Just the perfect finishing touch for your entry way wall, powder room or bedroom.To begin the transformation I repainted the frame in a luscious cotton candy pink and then chose some of my favorite vintage china plate rims. The large rims are from the Noritake Asian Song pattern and the small rims from CH Field Haviland Limoges, all sharing space with lovely dark amethyst glass cabochons. To compliment the china I used stained glass pieces in pink with a few pieces of cranberry colored glass sprinkled in.
