Zenith Trans-Oceanic Royal 3000-1 Shortwave Radio

Here's a Zenith Trans-Oceanic Royal 3000-1 Shortwave Radio for auction.  I tested it using 9 "D" cells, not included.  All bands were responsive with either reception or noise.  The dial light and all switches and controls were working.  Very smooth tuning.  The telescoping antenna opened and extended perfectly; it was completely straight with no bent segments.Cosmetically, it's in very good condition for its age.  The radio front, which includes the dial and grille, are in near perfect condition.  I don't see any dents or other visible exterior damage.  Not uncommon for this model, the black trim material has shrunk in a few places leaving some visible glue residue.  There is a small area near the chart where the metal appears to have slightly bubbled underneath.  I cleaned up some battery residue from the box so that the contacts have good continuity.  Sold as-is.U.S. shipping, new carton/packaging materials and insurance are $24.95 via FedEx Ground/Hom ...
